  When a JW's life comes close to its end...

  talking with a long time elder last night, was very revealing.

  he has been a jw for over 60 years, a man that was incarcerated in cuba in his early 20s and faced great loss and suffering over his beliefs and for being born in a communist country.

  this brave man is now brittle and low-spirited.. while nightfalls on his life, he is made aware the end is near.

  Heaven, I am sorry your dear Dad has dementia.

  I hope your dad still has friends and gets company.

  Whether a person has dementia or not, as you say, once one stops the hectic paced JW life, no matter what their past decades performance was, they are now yesterday's toast.

  Normal, outside people would not understand why an older aged JW person would think they would not die?

  Normal people know from an early age, that all living things end.

  I came to that wake up moment of clarity at age 62.

  Sounds silly, but true.

  Us girls, females are not supposed to flirt or look provocative, yet the girls are right out there with the GB's approval?

  After 1 minute watching, I couldn't take it any longer... but I was so astounded by this video, I bit the bullet, and I watched to the end.

  What happened to the hurry up and call on everyone, life saving work? It has now been put on hold?

  The WT is approving taking time to learn dance routines, to perform for visitors?

  When I finished, I said a little prayer. "Help me Jesus, my eyeballs have seen everything now".

  With this propaganda video, WT/GB is launching a new religion.

  It was about GB this and GB that.

  Nothing about being an end time religion.

  I think they used all of 2 scriptures.

  This video was a call out to all people who want to be controlled and micro-managed.

  All they have to do is step in line, and do everything WT/GB says.

  The hook here was companionship, friends, eating together, being invited to each other's home's.

  A pedophile's dream.

  It seemed like a call out to brain dead people, that already live in a bubble.

  No thinking person would join, and GB knows that...

  BUT there are lots of innocents out there who are easy picking's for GB to feast off of.

  Sickening.

  just found out from my jw mom that the congregations located in the suburbs north of seattle.

  will be renting buses to shuttle people back and forth to the international convention at husky.

  Lynnie. I was wondering and so I will bounce this off of you (or anyone else. Just chime in).

  Do you think possibly WT/GB wants places like the University district in Seattle and the really terrible venue area in Detroit for JW's to attend, knowing some will probably get mugged, their car broken into etc ? It sounds awful to say that in print... Or to even accuse anyone thinking that way, but come on, we are not talking normal people here. We are talking about the Watch Tower Business Corp.

  Having District Conventions in bad areas feeds right into WT/GB's mind set of a religion... The whole world is wicked. Worldly people are awful. (When someone gets mugged, or worse) Time and unforseen circumstances befall us all.

  Or the spin if no one gets mugged, or their car broken into... See. Jehovah God protects his faithful!

  Pasadena, California, September 1963 was an International Convention.

  The Rose Bowl is totally open to the elements.

  People came from all over the world.

  Sept in Los Angeles is hot, humid and muggy.

  Ah... What did Brother's Knorr and Franz and other's have to say?

  I don't know, but I can still remember some of the dresses I wore and how I fixed my hair and who sat with whom and who was pregnant and what guys I saw.

  796 infant skeletons have been found discarded in a septic tank at the former mother and baby home run by the catholic church in ireland between 1925 and 1961.. unwed mothers were sent these "magdelene asylums" to be treated like criminals.

  their babies - if they survived - were taken from them.

  if they did not survive their bodies were thrown into a septic tank and forgotton.

  How Many Know Any COBE's that are 80 years old or more???

  i knew one that died not too long ago.

  he was an old presiding overseer of one congo since the early 1960's.. he died in the saddle with his boots on.. he was watchtower overseer and cobe.. he died at 90.. he was beloved by many.. if this new change of getting rid of cobe's happened 10 years ago, when this "honored" one was just 80, i have no idea how he and his family would have taken it.. it certainly would have shaken them and theircongo up.. -----> getting rid of co's at 70.. -----> getting rid of all district overseers.. -----> wt has already let go thousands of bethel workers.. -----> selling off properties and pocketing their profits for themselves.. ----->monthly "donations" from each khall wt/gb owns already.. what a man made up religion.. what a snare and a racket!.
